Around the sale.
A painting is not finished when it is bought. It has to suit the wall, be mounted to last, travel safely and hang straight. These are the four things we do, and what each costs.

Advice before you buy
Free, and without obligation. Send us a photograph of the wall and its width, and we will send back the work at scale on it, tell you whether the colors will hold under your light, and say honestly if we think another piece would suit better.
- Additional photographs: details, the back, the mounting, the work in daylight next to a known color
- A to-scale mock-up on your own wall from a phone photograph
- A short video of scrolls unrolling, screens folding
- In-person viewing by appointment where distance allows

Mounting and framing
Every work is sold in the mount or frame shown in its photograph. If you would rather have a scroll framed behind glass, a panel re-matted to a different color, or a screen fitted with a wall bracket, we arrange it before shipping and pass the framer's invoice on at cost.

- Quoted in writing before any work begins; adds one to three weeks

Packing and delivery
Packing is included in every price and is done by us: scrolls rolled in acid-free tissue inside a rigid tube and case; framed works with glazing taped, corners protected and a double-wall carton; the screen in a made-to-measure crate. Shipping and insurance are quoted at cost once we know the address.
- Insured door-to-door delivery within the United States and worldwide
- White-glove delivery and hanging, where the carrier offers it, at cost
- Hanging hardware and a written care note with every work
- Collection arranged if a work is returned within fourteen days

Designers and the trade
We work regularly with interior designers, decorators, stagers and hospitality buyers. Terms are simple and in writing: net pricing on three or more works, holds of seven days while a client decides, and delivery direct to site or to your framer.

- Seven-day holds; longer by arrangement
- Sourcing to a brief (size, palette, subject) from stock not yet on the site
- Invoices in your name or your client's, as you prefer
